Who this covers

CLIX CRM is business software licensed to real estate brokerages and developers. Two different groups of people appear in it, and they are treated differently.

Users are the staff of a subscribing company who sign in to CLIX. We are the data controller for their account information.

Clients and contacts are the people a subscribing company records in its own CRM — buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords. We process that information on behalf of the subscribing company, which decides what is collected and why. If you are a client of a brokerage using CLIX and want your record corrected or erased, contact that brokerage. They can action it; we will assist them.

What the account holds

What the mobile app accesses on your device

Only what a feature you have used actually requires:

The app does not request access to your location or to the contacts stored on your phone. Those permissions are blocked in the app’s build configuration so that no future component can quietly begin asking for them. Nothing in CLIX tracks where an agent is.

How it is stored

Data is held in the United Arab Emirates and in Amazon Web Services regions selected for the deployment. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and cannot be read back by us. Credentials you enter for third-party services — a mail server, a portal, a messaging provider — are encrypted at rest and are never returned by the interface once saved.

Each subscribing company’s data is separated by organisation, and every request is checked against the requesting user’s permissions and record scope before anything is returned.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. It is shared only with the services needed to run the product: cloud hosting and databases, Expo’s push notification service for delivering alerts, and the email provider that sends transactional messages. A subscribing company may connect further services of its own — a portal, a mail server, a messaging provider — and data flows to those because that company chose to connect them.

How long it is kept

Account records are kept while your account is active and for as long afterwards as the subscribing company’s own retention rules and applicable law require. Deleting your account removes your personal details as described below.

Deleting your account

You can delete your CLIX account from inside the mobile app, under More → Account → Delete account, or on the web at this page.

Doing so removes your name, email address, telephone number and photograph, ends every signed-in session and stops all notifications to your devices. Business records your employer owns — leads you worked, notes you wrote, deals you closed — are retained by that company, but they no longer identify you. This is deliberate: those records belong to the business, while your identity belongs to you.

If you are the only owner of an organisation, transfer ownership to a colleague first. Otherwise the deletion would leave that organisation and its data unreachable.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your account information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If your request concerns a client record rather than your own account, please contact the brokerage that holds it — they control that data.

Children

CLIX CRM is business software and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will say so in the application before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
